I love polka dots, they're classic. Betsey Johnson updated the polka dot with this beautiful shoe, the Lanica, sold by Nordstrom. They're fun, flirty and would look perfect with a red or black A-line skirt or dress. Well done.

Maryjanes have been around since the early 1900s and find themselves at the front of the fashion pack again! The good thing about now is that they come in all shapes and styles. These Van Gisele Maryjane flats by Urban Outfitters are only one example. A very mod take on a classic.

Keds has made quite an effort this past year and I applaud them. In my mind they have gone from "has been" to "got to have them". I just bought these Panda print flats. They're so fun. From far away you can't tell that they're covered in pandas. No matter, if they're viewed up close or from far away they look good. If you wear sneakers during the summer consider slipping these on as a casual pair of shoes and leave your sneakers for working out.
