Spring is officially here and I have the itch to shop, shoe shop that is. To welcome in the first day of spring I went for a walk today and wore a pair of Baci shoes from my closet. That got me to thinking about how long I've had this particular pair of shoes which eventually led to this blog entry. In the middle of it all I realized how often Baci has fun, unique & off beat designs. I found this pair of shoes at zappos.com by Baci called the Tara. There are a few reasons I like them. The first being they're different. The next being they're red and finally, they buckle around the ankle. All great reasons to make this the shoe to usher in the first day of Spring!

I know there are those who shop sales now for winter 08 and I'm trying to become one of them. With that in mind I found these black Nine West Saroon Boots on Sale. They look fashionable & functional (our winters require functional) and are priced reasonably at $19.99. For those of you concerned that they might not be in style next winter, they aren't so trendy as to completely miss the boat. I really like these boots.

I wore these shoes made by Nina to my brother's wedding this weekend and I couldn't be more pleased. The peep-toe drew me in and when I put them on they looked so sexy! What turned out to be the best part was how my feet felt at the end of the night. I always end up with blisters or some foot injury due to my shoes while at weddings. Not this time. My favorite shoe this week is made by Nina!

You may think wearing this shoe would be a rare occasion but I love my ribbon tie wedges and I found many occasions to wear them last season. I plan on finding just as many this season! I first saw this pair in a recent ad and was reminded of how fun this look is. These shoes make your legs look great and you can wear them so many ways. The shoe from Tommy Hilfiger is especially nice because of its neutral colors. Wear these with skirts, dressy bermuda shorts, or cropped pants. Also, I find Tommy's shoes to run small. Consider going up a half size.

J.Crew's St. Tropez Slides are perfect for your winter get away & a good addition to your summer '07 shoe collection. My favorites are the navy seersucker. Always classic. I guess you could say I'm a sucker for stripes. These would look good with cropped pants & a white tank or your bathing suit and a cute coverup. No matter, they can be very casual or simply chic with a smart mini.
